FAQ

Q - How do guests check-in and out of their apartments?

A - Guests will be emailed with the full apartment address once booked and will be required to ring our dedicated check-in number 30 minutes prior to arrival and will be met at their properties and checked in. To check out they must simply lock their apartment door, ensure it is secure and post all keys back through the apartments letterbox found on the front door of the apartment, our housekeepers will then collect them.

Q - Do the apartments have a lift/elevator?

A - all of our Quartermile apartments have a lift, our Dublin Meuse Apartments are also on the ground floor so are suitable for disabled access. Our Hill Street Townhouse and North Bank street properties do not have lift access.

Q - Is there a 24 hour reception?

A - We do not have a reception all of our guests are met at their chosen property and shown around them personally so that we can answer any questions you may have. We are open from 10AM - 10PM daily, out of these hours we can still be contacted but it is for emergencies only. Our Quartermile apartments also offer a 24 hour concierge service.

Q - Is there car parking available and how much does this cost?

A - The majority of our apartments do offer parking, please read the individual property descriptions for this information. However, free parking is only given to guests who have booked directly with VIP Apartments and not a third party Booking company, otherwise parking is still available but will cost £16 per day in the NCP visitors car park at the Quartermile and £15 per day at Hill street Lane North. Free parking cannot be guaranteed as it is subject to availability but please inquire about this if needed or request it on your booking.

Q - Are cots available for Children and how much does this cost?

A - Cots are available for children under 5 years old and are free of charge, they must be requested prior to arrival however. 

Q - How can we get to the apartments from Edinburgh Airport

A - Travel from the airport:- you can order an airport transfer by sending us an email with your flight details and will be taken directly to your apartment, there is a £40 charge for this service for a group of 5 or less. Or you can get the Airlink bus to Waverley Bridge http://www.flybybus.com and then it is just a 5-10 minute walk or a £5 taxi ride to any of our city centre locations.

Q - Do the apartments have a hairdryer and towels?

A Yes, all apartments are supplied with one hairdryer and towels.
